B.A.S. in Emergency Management
Emergency Management Concentration
Core courses (required for all concentrations)
  • ETM 502 Regulatory Framework (or ETM 527--Environmental/Resources Regulations )
  • ETM 503 Industrial Toxicology
  • ETM 506 Chemistry of Hazardous Materials
  • ETM 507 Industrial Hygiene
Concentration area required courses
  • ETM 524 Comprehensive Emergency Management
  • ETM 598 Terrorism, WMD, and Current Issues
  • ETM 598 Information Technology in Emergency Management
  • Two electives 

In addition, a total of 9 hours of research and thesis credit or 6 hours of research and applied project credit are required.

Two delivery methods are provided for the M.S. in Technology. For local students able to attend classes at the ASU East campus, a schedule that is sensitive to the needs of the working professional is available. This consists of a mixture of web based internet courses and a Friday/Saturday schedule of classes.

A distance learning optionis also provided using a cohort model.  An additional application for this option is required.
